Luca Galeasso receives the International Innovation Award Sustainable Europe

On 24 October 2023 Luca Galeasso, project manager of the Environmental Technology Park Enviroment Park, based in Turin, received the Sustainable Europe International Award from the San Valero Group. He received his award from Beatriz Giner, vice-rector of research at the San Jorge University and Silvia Carrascal, vice-rector of educational strategy and internationalisation at the San Jorge University.

This prize, awarded by the San Valero Group in commemoration of its 70th anniversary, aims to highlight European initiatives and projects that have been developed with a view to innovation, training and sustainable development within the framework of the European Union. The award was collected by 5 people whose performance, involvement and personal value have contributed to facilitate and enrich the work and international projection during all these years.
Luca, during his speech of gratitude on receiving his award, addressed the audience, pointing out the added value of having professional partners such as the San Valero Group. He also made reference to the fact that “in our technology park we are oriented towards research and the transfer of knowledge between the university and the company, responding to market demand”.

He concluded his speech by presenting the project that Environmental Park is developing together with other European partners, including the San Valero Group, the Multilevel Hybrid Learning project. An innovative model that promotes the development of skills and competences acquired in Vocational Training to reinforce employment-oriented training in new specialities and professional profiles associated with the transformation of the labour market.

MHL International award

The event, which was attended by more than 100 people, served as a loudspeaker for this European project, making reference to the new training model that is being developed, arousing much interest among all attendees by the reference it makes to the development of professional skills adapted to the reality of the labour market.
