HENNEO GROUP SIGNS WITH SAN VALERO GROUP ITS ADHESION TO THE “FP++ PROFESSIONAL CHAIR”

Today, the Henneo Group signed a Vocational Training ++ Chair, promoted by the San Valero Group with the aim of promoting, together with the companies of Aragon, Vocational Training through the active collaboration of the companies.

Grupo Henneo has joined this initiative and its CEO, Íñigo de Yarza, has signed the agreement together with the General Manager of Grupo San Valero, César Romero Tierno.

In this way, the company will actively participate in the academic development of Vocational Training and will contribute with the presence of experts in the classrooms and with the mentoring of students.

Grupo Henneo, 127 years of history, is one of the leading Spanish groups in the media and technology sectors. The FP++ Professional Chair focuses its training model on two pluses, Business and University. With the support of the companies, through a financial endowment, a scholarship fund is created to provide students with access to training, research and employment.

The “FP++ Philosophy” is a pioneering model in Aragon that was installed by San Valero Group in 2017 and is aligned with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) number 4 (Quality Education) and number 17 (Partnerships to achieve goals), established by the United Nations through the 2030 Agenda.

The first of the pluses of this VET+ is business. The involvement of the business sector in the new Vocational Training plays a fundamental role. The educational group’s centres have signed agreements with numerous companies, with some of which it is developing Dual Vocational Training programmes.

The other plus of this differential VET is the University. The fact that the San Jorge University belongs to the educational group enables the San Valero and CPA Salduie centres to incorporate university backing to their teaching. Thus, it is possible to validate credits if the student wishes to continue their training pathway towards university. In addition, it provides method and university quality to its teaching, as well as added value through its own degrees.

In this sense, the San Valero Group is the only educational entity that brings together vocational training and university and companies are joining this initiative. Thus, Centro San Valero and CPA Salduie integrate these two exclusive differentiating elements in their vocational training courses. Two seals that contribute to the acquisition of complementary skills and competences, going one step further in the training process.

In its VET classrooms you can study 34 types of Intermediate and Higher Level Training Cycles, in classroom, online and dual mode in areas such as: Administration and Management, Audiovisuals, Automotive, Commerce and Marketing, Sports, Mechanical Manufacturing, Computer Science, Electricity and Electronics, Maintenance, Health and Social Services.
